Beloved Mother,

On the 26^th of June 2011 I started a fasting program and my first prayer request was that your healing would be made perfect. On the 3^rd of July, I learnt from Pa’a that you were in the hospital. I told myself it was the channel by which God would perfect your healing. Mama, I believed God beyond science and what my senses told me that you would emerge victorious.

On the 7^th of July 2011, I learnt that you passed on to eternity. I still believe God that in death yet you shall live again. I thank God because your passing on to eternity on the 7^th day of the 7^th month of the year (7 is God’s Number, it is the number of rest for God rested from all his labour on the 7^th day) is a testimony and a blessing made perfect. Even though I might not see the blessing right now, I know it is working for my good (Romans 8:28). What the enemy meant for evil the LORD has turned into good (Genesis 50:20).  You have worked and you have rested from all your labours, all that awaits you now is a crown of life and for us your children we shall be comforted and blessed of the Lord.

Dearest Grandma,
This is your mother in law. When you left here, you promised to come back with nice dresses for us. We were waiting eagerly because you always bought us nice things always. We will miss you a lot and will always remember how such a nice grandma we had.
